2022 has been both a busy and at times challenging year in the world of recruitment. As we approach the end of the year, the Brampton team has been reflecting on some of the highlights from the last 12 months.
The Brampton team has seen some fantastic new additions this year! We welcomed Kelly Blackband in January as a Resourcer. Nicola Middleton joined us in April as Branch Administrator. We’ve also had two new Commercial Consultants joining our team, Imogen Kelly and Rachel Bostock. They all been brilliant additions to the Brampton family and have settled in fabulously! Talking of our website, in November we launched our brand-new site! It includes our free job alert function, jobs page, information about us, industry news and a whole lot more! Take a look at our fresh new look here.
Throughout 2022, we’ve be proud to have continued our support for Douglas Macmillan, taking part in their annual duck race, Christmas jumper day and collecting and donating bags of clothes/toys etc. We’ll also be attending their ball next year to celebrate their 50th birthday, an event we’re really looking forward to! We also raised money for Children in Need by wearing our pyjamas to work, and Breast Cancer Research by donning our best pink outfits!!
Our Administrator Nicola had a fabulous idea to make up Christmas hampers for us to give out to vulnerable elderly people in our community, so through November and December we set about raising money and putting together essential food items, a blanket, mugs and some tasty festive treats. We’re really proud that we managed to assemble 50 hampers and we dropped them off in the middle of December. We really hope they made a difference and brought a much-needed smile to some very deserving faces.
Altogether in 2022 we raised over £3000 for our chosen causes and we’ll continue to support local charities through 2023, so thank you to all those who helped us to achieve this – you’re amazing.
This year we also celebrated our 16th year in business. We feel so fortunate that we have stood the test of time and have built up fantastic relationships with businesses throughout Staffordshire and Cheshire, so we thought a fitting gift to show our clients our appreciation would be a box of sweets to celebrate our sweet 16! We had our own branded boxes made up to give out to our clients who have been extremely loyal and given us their business over the years; we really hope it made their day a little sweeter!!
