We reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2022!
Who knew at the start of 2021 that all our lives would continue to be so affected by the dreaded C-word (Covid, of course!)? We’ve all had to adapt a hell of a lot (and very quickly) to what has become the “new normal”. But as we reflect on the last year, there have been some great things to celebrate, and the Brampton team is really looking forward to jumping into 2022!
Throughout 2021, we continued our work providing temporary staff for the covid testing project across Staffordshire. It’s been so rewarding to help in our own way during these unusual times and we can’t thank our fantastic temporary workers enough for the brilliant work they’ve done through this year, providing lateral flow tests to all who needed the service.
By far the best news of 2021 was the arrival of a brand new Brampton baby, as Consultant Laura gave birth to beautiful baby Ella. Thankfully, when restrictions eased we were able to have cuddles with Laura’s new bundle of joy, who really is the cutest little girl. We’re all completely smitten!
We also welcomed a couple of new additions to the team. In January Amanda Slater started with us as our internal Accounts and Payroll Manager. She certainly had a baptism of fire processing the payroll which included the high number of temps working on the covid testing project. She rose to the occasion and has proven to be a fantastic addition to the team! Commercial Consultant Hayley Bloor has also joined the team in October this year and she is an absolute star already! With plenty of previous recruitment experience under her belt, she’s hit the ground running and her lovely laugh has already become legendary!
Looking ahead to next year, we’re really excited about what 2022 will bring. 2021 marked our 15th year in business, but due to the restrictions of the pandemic we were unable to arrange any celebrations to honour the occasion. So, we’re looking forward to 2022 when we hope to be able to celebrate turning sweet 16!! We can’t wait to mark such a fantastic milestone as a team. Keep an eye out for news on that through next year! We’re also looking to expand the team in the new year so look out for more exciting announcements throughout 2022.
