Salary: £18,500 per annum rising to £19,000 after a satisfactory 6-month probationary period

Candidate Requirements:

  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Previous experience working as a Sales Administrator or within Internal Sales is essential
  • High level of communication skills
  • Ability to learn and deal with a high volume of products and product codes
  • Good IT skills
  • Good commercial awareness of opportunities
  • Ability to work as a team and help their colleagues when required
  • Excellent product knowledge in time with training provided
  • Own transport is essential due to the location

  • As a Sales Administrator you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships within your region managing several key accounts
  • Checking stock availability and organising deliveries
  • You will be negotiating on prices, advising on current promotions and promoting web ordering
  • Processing a high volume of sales orders
  • As a Sales Administrator you will be working alongside the Sales Team to support their day to day operations
  • To negotiate, upsell and cross sell with highlighted accounts on price sensitive products
  • Inputting faxed, emailed and web orders for your region
  • Promoting web ordering
  • Recognising improvements that can be made at the customers end such as incorrect prices, product codes, box quantities, etc.
