Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (1/2-hour lunch) 8:00am-5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
Salary: £20,000 per annum

Candidate Requirements:

The Sales Administrator role would suit an individual with previous sales admin or administration experience. An individual who was hardworking and personable whilst also being able to manage a high workload and multi-task projects.


  • As a Sales Administrator you would need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and be IT literate
  • Able to work on own initiative, prioritise own work, meet deadlines
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a small team
  • A positive and logical approach to problem solving and multi-tasking
  • CRM task management and excellent attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of telephony including Lines, Broadband, Fibre, Hosting and VoIP services would be a bonus although not essential as full training will be provided
  • Basic Telephony hardware knowledge such as Sangoma, Yealink, Various Router types. Again, not essential as full training will be provided.

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Administrator to work with our client, a successful and progressive IT Service Provider. The role is diverse and hands on; as expected for an ever evolving and successful company and involves being a team player and supporting with all sales administrative duties.


Your role as a Sales Administrator will see you working closely with the internal sales and administration teams, carrying out all administration support and handling incoming calls from customers, suppliers and third parties.


Other duties include:


  • As an Administrator you will be processing customers order’s; ordering services from our suppliers through online portals
  • Creating purchasing orders, processing sales orders and supporting with invoicing and customer queries
  • Keeping customers up to date on the progress of their orders and informing them of any changes
  • Escalating any issues with suppliers when orders do not progress correctly through web chat, phone call or email
  • Handling general customer queries and liaising daily with export customers and logistics companies
  • Working from a task queue to make sure all order updates are processed or cleared
  • Reporting to Senior Business systems administrator
