37.5 hours per week (flexi hours between 8.00am - 6.00pm)
Salary: £17,163 per annum, rising to £18,163 per annum after probationary period

Candidate Requirements:

  • Someone who has working experience within a contact/call centre – dealing with incoming calls
  • Strong customer service experience/background
  • Strong communication skills; excellent telephone manner
  • Someone who has a great eye for detail and a good level of spelling and grammar
  • Someone who can work using their own initiative

Job Description:

Our client is a progressive, modern and developing organisation that puts great emphasis on developing its staff and progressing them. They specialise in the insurance sector and due to growth within Customer Care, they are seeking a new Customer Care Officer to join their established team.

  • This Customer Care Officer role will be working within a team ensuring that customers receive the best possible customer experience
  • You will be processing incoming enquiries from either the telephone, email or live chat
  • Updating customer information on the system and ensuring all information is logged
  • Where needed, dealing with informal complaints and escalating them as required
  • Dealing with admin in relation to sensitive issues such as deceased members, liaising with families or solicitors and dealing with refund and claims cheques
