  • Sage 50 Accounts knowledge and experience is essential
  • MS Excel/Word and Outlook is also essential

Job Description:

Our client based in Stafford specialises in manufacturing and they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small, busy and friendly team based on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

 

Duties for the Accounts Assistant will include:

 

  • Allocating customer receipts
  • Generating customer statements
  • Dealing with weekly debtors reports to management
  • Emailing copy invoices to customers
  • Investigating and rectifying invoice queries
  • Chasing any overdue debts by email
  • Reconciling telephone monthly turnover
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Dealing with supplier statement reconciliations
  • Identifying and requesting missing invoices and delivery notes
  • Dealing with petty cash claims
  • Inputting ad-hoc purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of carriage assignments
  • Filing completed purchase orders
  • Supplier VAT audit
  • Email communications and general filing and document control
