Candidate Requirements:

The role of Business Support Administrator would require an individual with administration experience, ideally within a financially regulated environment with an excellent understanding of the financial planning process and a confident and professional communicator; both written and verbally.


The Business Support Administrator will:


  • Be an experienced administrator
  • Have worked within a financial services industry previously
  • Have an ability to work within defined business processes
  • Experience of using computer-based management systems including Wrap/Platforms.
  • Computer literate, conscientious and have a good attention to detail
  • Clear understanding of the financial planning process
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively and assist in ad-hoc projects when required
  • A good working knowledge of protection, pensions and investment products
  • Good understanding of compliance issues
  • Reliable, tolerant, and determined
  • Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability
  • The Business Support Manager will ideally be working towards or qualified at Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join a well-established and successful financial planning company at a time of immense growth. The administration role will be central in supporting the business in such a way as to ensure that the firm’s client and service propositions are delivered in an efficient and robust way. The Business Support Administrator will see you supporting in the administration of new business processing, proactive client management in an ongoing manner, servicing existing business and regular contact directly with clients and wrap/
platform providers.


The Business Support Administrator will:


  • Receiving and acting on instructions from adviser’s and paraplanners following client meetings
  • Maintaining accurate records using internal back office systems
  • Creating and producing letters, reports and invoices
  • Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent including processing new business in line with compliance procedures
  • Obtaining illustrations and product information from providers
  • Liaising with clients and product providers on outstanding documents and queries
  • Preparation of existing client valuations / files ready for reviews
  • Process of new business
  • Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis
