A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Order Processor / Warehouse Operative to join a small, friendly, and local company who are specialist suppliers and distributors in their industry.

Job Description for the Sales Order Processor / Warehouse Operative:
 
In this varied role, you will report directly to the Logistics Manager and perform the following duties:

  • Receiving and processing orders – sorting, picking, packing and despatching products
  • Carrying out checks to ensure orders are picked with accuracy
  • Processing Sales Orders via Xero noting special terms and implementing accordingly
  • Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and goods-in procedures
  • Checking, labelling and locating supplier deliveries with stock checks completed accurately
  • General warehouse housekeeping ensuring H & S is adhered to
  • Performing Warehouse inventory controls and carry out stock-taking duties
  • Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to for efficient and timely deliveries
  • Undertake any additional, daily administration tasks as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Good organisational, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong work ethic; reliable and dependable with the ability to self-motivate with positivity and energy
  • Flexible and wilingl to perform a variety of tasks
  • Team player but also happy to work alone whilst following all safety procedures
  • Previous experience of order processing is essential
  • Attention to detail is crucial as accuracy is of the upmost importance
  • IT skills to include MS Office, Excel to a good standard and Xero (or similar)
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Must have a car and be able to drive to the other, local Warehouse
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent  

Hours:  Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary:  £23,000 – £30,000 DOE Per Annum
