Medium term temporary role based in Newcastle under Lyme

Our client requires temporary cover for a front-of-house administrator for a medium-term contract to start as soon as possible.  This role requires an individual to perform various admin tasks and the role also covers facilities management tasks, hospitality duties and ordering of supplies. 
Duties will include:

  • Answer incoming calls, log and direct accordingly
  • Administration support for the Contracts Department
  • Purchase order entry
  • Collect post and distribute as required
  • Greet and escort visitors when necessary and coordinate taxi/hotels if required
  • Announcement of VIP’s where appropriate
  • Restock & maintain photocopiers & shredders
  • Order all stationery
  • Maintain electronic diaries for all meeting rooms
  • Assist the Facilities Manager as required
  • Ensure subscriptions are kept up to date
  • Liaise with Companies – Keele Estates, etc. for facilities & maintenance issues alongside the Facilities Manager and log all issues
  • Ensure all clocks are up to date
  • Handling of keys to all departments and updating the key list as necessary
  • Security card allocation for office access for new starters
  • Maintain Permits to work filing and Record updates for contractors, including insurance documents
  • Fire warden role for the office
  • Ordering of office stock, replenishing purchase orders etc for three sites
  • Order refreshments for senior management meetings including Board meetings 

 Candidate Requirements: 

  • Experience in completing Purchase orders is desirable
  • Proven admin skills are essential
  • A professional individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to remain calm and well-organised
  • Strong people skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is essential (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Smart appearance

Hours   Between 9:00 am- 5:00 pm (35 hours)
Salary:  Negotiable
