In the Customer Service role, you’ll work towards building solid relationships and exceeding client expectations.

 
This is an exciting time to be joining a solid and diverse inbound sales team as a Customer Service Executive in their family-run Stoke office.
Our wholesaler client is looking to add to their Sales Support team with a customer service and sales point of contact.
 
 Job Description:
 
We are looking for a self-motivated and confident individual to join as a Customer Service Executive; answering inbound telephone calls, and emails, taking and confirming orders, and ensuring customer care is paramount. In the Customer Service role, you’ll work towards building solid relationships and exceeding client expectations.
Your role as Customer Service will include:

  • Ensure high levels of professionalism and availability to handle inbound customer calls and emails within agreed response times
  • The Customer Service Executive will work closely with the external sales team to ensure that clients are supported and in line with the company’s customer service ethos
  • Placing customer orders and providing accurate product availability using the bespoke in-house system
  • Work with different internal departments regarding delivery requirements
  • As the Customer Service Executive they will take ownership of any customer issues that arise and if cannot be dealt with escalate to the relevant person
  • Actively participate in any initiative to improve the level of service provided by the company

 Candidate Requirements:  
 
Your role as a Customer Service will demand a confident and professional communicator to handle the telephone sales and inbound enquiries coming through. This fast-paced and diverse environment requires an individual who is willing to learn and develop, is confident with telephones and customer service, and can accurately and promptly input customer data and payment information.
 
For the Customer Service role, you’ll:

  • Be a confident, professional, and pro-active worker
  • Have worked in a customer service role previously
  • Be willing to confidently upsell or offer alternative products when appropriate
  • Work well as part of a team and be able to manage your own workload
  • Be able to remain calm when under pressure
  • Competent using Microsoft packages

 Working Hours – Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
 Salary – £22,000
 
This role would suit people who also have the following experience: customer service, sales, and administration.
