Candidate Requirements:

  • You will have good working knowledge of several different financial reporting systems.
  • You will be able to handle multi-site, multi-contract reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Sage.
  • Working knowledge of Webroster would be of benefit but is not essential.
  • To have worked on systems implementations in the past.
  • To have at least three years’ experience working in a fast-paced finance team.
  • Good Excel skills / report writing ability.

Job Description:

Our client based in Cheshire currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Officer with experience implementing / integrating IT systems to join them on a fixed term contract until May 2021.


As Finance Officer, you will be supporting the Finance Manager in the implementation of a new system and its integration with Sage Accounts. Duties will include:


  • Reporting to the Finance Manager, to be responsible for the effective and efficient implementation of the financial aspects of their new roster system.
  • Take overall responsibility for the timely implementation of the interface between the new roster system and Sage.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to ensure that all data feeding into Sage accounts is accurate and timely. Ensure that the data is kept up to date.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to design a suite of financial reports from Sage for the monthly reporting process and any reports from the new roster system that will form part of the finance reporting pack.
  • Undertake ad hoc work relating to the IT project and to support the smooth running of the finance team and to ensure good working relationships within the finance team, including training finance staff on the new systems and responding to queries.
