Sweet sixteen
In March, sixteen years ago our founder, Claire Leigh, started to make her dream – to build a great recruitment agency – come true. She put her faith in herself and launched Brampton Recruitment in a quest to offer recruitment support, with a difference.
The year was 2006, it was “Chico Time” in the charts and time for a personal and fresh approach to recruitment in North Staffordshire. Originally based in offices on The Brampton (hence the name) in Newcastle under Lyme, Claire and just one other team member set to work. Initially, the focus was office-based roles in the immediate geographic area.
Sweet dreams
Taking “Wonder Woman” as inspiration, Claire flew into action and brought a colourful flash of support to job seekers and career builders. Listening to their needs and taking a proactive, professional but friendly approach has been the trademark of the business and has seen us place thousands of people, in the role of their dreams, since 2006. We’ve expanded our team, geographical reach and the sectors we serve, in our own sweet superhero kind of way.
Sweet success
There’s been a lot of change during our sixteen years in the recruitment business, but some things remain constant. Our commitment to helping companies and candidates come together and build brighter futures. It’s testament to our hard work, integrity and sweet success, that clients that we helped back in that first year, continue to work with Brampton for their recruitment needs, to this day. Thank you – you know who you are!
Sweet reflections
Reaching a milestone birthday has made us reflect, and yes, it’s sweet to look back on our achievements. We’ve made it through recessions, employment lows and highs, not to mention a pandemic by holding true to our values and constantly adapting. As digital job hunting continues to grow, so does our commitment to providing a reliable, professional, and personable service.
Sweet child of mine
Reaching a sixteenth birthday is quite an achievement and it’s made us all think back to what we were doing as sixteen-year-olds, taking our first steps on the career ladder.
