2015 – It’s been another fantastic year at Brampton Recruitment!
A year of big birthdays, exams and qualifications, business awards, success stories, new team members, fundraising, community support, a LOT of cake and much more!
We started our year off with a bang, running our annual Temp of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year! We were pleased to announce that Emma Lewis and David Griffiths were our winners and were rewarded with wonderful shopping vouchers to go and treat themselves for their hard work.
Emma, 31, who now holds a permanent position with one of our clients based in Crewe as a HR Administration Assistant said: “The award came as a lovely surprise and was completely unexpected!”
Second winner David, 44, works with our client based in Chesterton, Newcastle, having secured a permanent role as a Commercial Officer after impressing their accounts department so much whilst temping via Brampton Recruitment. We are in the process of judging this year’s many nominations and will be announcing a winner of Temp of the Year 2015 shortly.. Watch this space…
2015 has seen many more lovely testimonials and great feedback given by candidates that have utilised the support of our dedicated team of Consultants – Visit our webpage to see fabulous reviews of the service that we offer: http://www.bramptonrecruitment.co.uk/testimonials
Brampton Recruitment is dedicated to investing in and developing our team to ensure they’re providing our clients and candidates with a wealth of expert knowledge. This year our Branch Manager Charlotte not only hit the big 3-0 but she also attended Manchester Metropolitan University where she completed their highly commended Managers2Leaders Programme gaining advice from inspiring business leaders and improving leadership practice by sharing experiences via peer to peer learning.
Recruitment Consultant Jo Glover passed the industry recognised REC qualification in February 2015 with flying colours with Ebony following suit eagerly awaiting her results from the Level 2 Certificate in REC Recruitment Resourcing – Well done Jo and good luck Ebony!
Later this year Brampton Recruitment was nominated as a finalist in 2 categories at the annual South Cheshire Chamber Business Awards 2015 – “Excellence in Customer Service” And “Employer of the Year”. Although we didn’t win we were highly commended in both categories. This is a great honour as the standard of the finalist categories were very high and it was wonderful to be recognised alongside such stiff competition.
2015 has seen the team at Brampton do lots of work with the local community. We’ve held an interesting employability workshop with South Cheshire College where we held mock interviews and gave advice on CV and application writing; We’ve supported Sir Thomas Boughey High School and offered careers advice to Year 11 students that were about to leave school and enter the big wide world of job hunting.. So rewarding to see the enthusiasm of the students and give something back to help the next generation of job seekers!
It’s been a busy year supporting our chosen charity The Peter Pan Centre for Children with Special Needs in Newcastle under Lyme. Senior Consultant Vikki has given her time to the charity to attend their fundraising open days… Dressed up as Peppa Pig and Iggle Piggle, dancing with Jack Sparrow to keep the children entertained! Other team members have also helped fundraise by running the local Potteries Marathon back in July, we’ve sold raffle tickets at their annual ball and donated prizes to events – this year we proudly achieved 135% of our target to help this valuable service keep their doors open after losing much needed funding.
2015 has also seen the team at Brampton Recruitment grow and we have welcomed new team members Samantha Jackson, Natasha Ashley and Karen Jones to our team. We are delighted to have expanded the team this year they have fitted into the Brampton team perfectly, here are a few words from the new team member’s:
Natasha – Recruitment Consultant
“Life at Brampton is extremely fast paced and there is lots to take in. All the girls have been really helpful by training me; giving me lots of support and making me feel a part of the team.”

“I’ve settled in really quickly as they’re such a friendly team. There’s never a dull (or quiet!) moment in the office, which is just how I like it! My role as Resourcer is really varied and each day absolutely flies by. I’m looking forward to having a great 2016 as part of the Brampton team!”
Sam – Accounts & Payroll Officer
“I came to Brampton Recruitment in August this year, having previously worked for an employment agency some 30 years ago! There is a great team spirit here, the girls have made me feel so welcome and part of that team, and for that I can’t thank them enough, it’s almost a pleasure to come into work J (but don’t tell them that!) so bring on 2016!”
