Temporary workers

How do I get paid?
Your wages will be paid directly into your bank account, a week in arrears each Friday and your wage slip will be emailed to you.

Do I need to get a timesheet from you?
Unless otherwise agreed a timesheet will be faxed or e-mailed to your place of work for the attention of your manager every Friday morning. This must then be sent back to us by Friday evening or Monday morning at 10am at the latest. You are also able to download a blank timesheet from our downloads section.

What if I don't have my P45?
Don't worry you can complete a P46 (available in our download section) which, when completed, allows us to deduct tax on an emergency code until the right amount of tax to be deducted is worked out.

Do I receive holiday pay?
In accordance with the Governments Working Time Regulations, you are entitled to 5.6 weeks' paid holiday each leave year (the holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December). A weeks holiday will be the equivalent to your 'normal' working week. If you start work part way through the year your holiday entitlement will be pro rata'd. Please note holiday pay cannot be carried over to the next year.

Do I get paid if I don't work on a Bank Holiday?
Bank Holidays are no longer statutory and therefore if you are not required to work the day(s) will be taken as unpaid leave unless you request them as part of your annual leave. Please make sure that you contact the office to request these as paid holidays or fill out a form, found in our downloads section, if you wish to receive holiday pay.

How do I request a holiday?
Notice of holidays must be given in good time; at least twice the length of the period of leave you wish to take. To request paid leave please contact the team either by phone or e-mail with the dates you wish to take or download our request form and fax it back to us.

What happens when I finish working for you?
At the end of an assignment if you are no longer looking for temporary employment we will issue you with your P45 after your final wages have been paid.
