Job Seekers FAQs

Registering and finding work with Brampton Recruitment is an easy process, but we understand you may have some questions first, if you can't find the answers to your questions here, please see the 'Contact us' page to contact the team directly.

General Questions

How do I register with Brampton Recruitment?
In the first instance contact our team directly or submit your details on-line through our 'vacancy search' or 'send CV' option. We will always meet with you in person to discuss your requirements and the services we can offer. One of our consultants will contact you to arrange a convenient time for you to visit our office.

What information do I need to provide to register?
We will need a copy of your up to date CV to help us identify your skills and experience. A copy of your certificates and reference contacts would also be useful and help us to place you into work quicker. If you are looking for temporary work you will also need to provide your National Insurance Number, Bank Details and your passport (if you do not have a passport please contact our team prior to registration to find out what other documentation is acceptable).

How old do I have to be to register with Brampton Recruitment?
We do not have any age restrictions for registering with Brampton Recruitment, however if you are under 18 you will need to visit your local careers advisory service first and provide us with a letter from them stating you have been.

Should I register with other recruitment agencies?
By all means register with other recruitment agencies - you want to make sure you give yourself the best possible chance to find work. All we ask, is you let us know who you are registered with and where they have sent your CV to, so we do not duplicate any applications.

How long does the registration process take?
We recommend that you allow an hour for registration, although this could take longer depending on the number of vacancies we want to talk to you about. We will be completely honest with you through the whole process and will expect the same from you.

What sort of companies do you deal with?
We work with a wide range of companies, small and large, independent and multinationals. One thing to be assured of is that we only deal with companies we would be happy to work for ourselves.

What areas geographically do Brampton Recruitment cover?
We cover the whole of the Staffordshire and South Cheshire regions, but occasionally we will go outside of this area to find the right role for you.

What happens if you don't have any suitable positions available?
After your interview, Brampton Recruitment will actively look for a suitable position for you, should one not already be available. If we don't think a position we have is 100% perfect for you, we won't put you forward for it. You will continue to be registered with Brampton Recruitment for as long as you want to be.

Do you charge candidates for your service?
No, absolutely not! Our service, advice and support are totally free of charge to candidates.
